The reticulated python (Python reticulatus) comes in a lot of different color morphs and patterns. In addition, the reticulated python also comes in smaller sizes, ranging from six feet up to 12 feet+ for the dwarf varieties, and larger for the mainland pythons. With many decades of captive breeding efforts, the reputation that this species of snake as a nasty and mean herp is no longer the case, at least with the many captive bred animals available.
