The banded rock rattlesnake (Crotalus lepidus klauberi) and the mottled rock rattlesnake (Crotalus lepidus lepidus) are small and sedentary montane snakes. Their lineage is Mexican in origin, and as their names imply, they are rock-dwelling snakes.
