A quick tip before you bring a herp home.

Research the natural behavior of a reptile before purchasing it. Does the animal lead a terrestrial (land) or arboreal (tree) lifestyle? Terrestrial reptiles fare better in horizontal cages and arboreal reptiles prefer vertical.
