Answer: One of the most commonly kept reptile pets in the world, the Green Iguana (Iguana iguana) is the largest lizard species in Central and South America, and can reach lengths of 7+ feet.  In the wild, they feed on a variety of leaves, flowers, soft fruits and young plant shoots. A large adult male is really a magnificent animal to see in the wild!
