Answer: The Jackson’s chameleon (Chamaeleo jacksonii) is native to the humid, cooler regions of East Africa, in Tanzania and Kenya, and can be found in large numbers at altitudes above 3,000 m. The Jackson’s chameleon is a small- to medium-sized species, with adults reaching 12 inches in length. The male has three very distinctive horns protruding from the head, which is why it is sometimes referred to as the three horned chameleon. They attain maturity after five months with a variable lifespan of 5 to 10 years. Most chameleons are egg layers, but the Jackson's chameleon gives birth to live offspring – sometimes as many as 30 live young!

Winners: 10 winners are randomly selected and will receive 500 Club Reptile points. Winners will be notified by email.
