Momma worked today...
...but that didn't stop me from having my natural sunlight therapy. I was out for at least 5 hours, with Nana watching me closely. Mommy will be off tomorrow, so for sure I'll get more sun. I'm loving it! So this is how sunbathing feels like. I've been inside most of the time for a whole year. Mommy really hopes that my shell will be smooth soon. She saw some horrific photos of tortoises with deformed shells. She would die if that ever happened to me!
Today Zorro the pug turned four. All he got was a low fat dog biscuit, cuz he's on a diet. Most of us in this house hold should cut down their food intake (mommy is on top of that list), except for me ofcourse...I'm but a growing baby tortoise...LOL!
Mommy and daddy will be celebrating their ninth anniversary soon. They'll be going to their little Hearst Castle getaway from 9/20 to 9/22. Poor Nana...she only had us four legged ones the last time they went on vacation. This time, she'll have the kids, too!

FINALLY...
I get to blog! I worked my usual three day weekend. We missed Father's Day. I left my hubby his gift on our bed. Since he works the night shift and I work during the day, when we work the same days, we don't see each other at all (that's what makes our marriage work...LOL!). He loved the gifts...a pair of camouflage crocs clogs and a coffee mug personalized with the kids' pic. We took him to breakfast this morning. The poor guy was a zombie after two nights at work.
I'm taking the kids to Legoland this coming Thursday. It will be a nice sunny warm day. We're going with my friend and her two kids. We'll have five kids all together...WISH US LUCK! We really need it.
SB is more active...thank goodness! The last thing I need is a sick tortoise. Since I'm off today, I observed what she did the whole morning after I turned on her UVB light and gave her salad. Here it is: It took her 30 minutes to slowly wake up. Then, she took her time to get to her dish (another 30 minutes...the good life of SB the tortoise...LOL!). She nibbled here and there for about 20 minutes then she walked around. She did this about three cycles. After that, she went to her dish and tried to soak herself, but it is now too small for her (gotta remind myself to get a bigger one). Then, she took a long nap. I ran errands, and when I came back around 03:15 pm, she was eating again! You know...I don't mind being a tortoise...LOL!

Whats up? Thank you for the congratulations! Im sorry that you got your internet shut off! Nothing is going on here! Lilly is in her shedding mode! Glory just finished shedding! She has grown 5 inches in one month she is growing so fast! I checked out the lipstick sunglow boas and oh my god they are amazingly beautiful! I love them! I wish I could have one! They have really beautiful boa morphs that I want too! One thing I love about boas is that they give birth to live young I just think that is so awsome! Im so sorry that you are sick again! You must have got sick alot when you where at that daycare! I hope you get to feeling better! That is just too sweet how jay bent back to give you a kiss! Lilly does that some times! He must be a little sweet heart! Its amazing how something that small can make you feel so much better! Lilly has such a cute personality she makes me smile and laugh! That is cool that you want to get another puppy I love puppies! I love beagles they are great! We have one rat terrier a daughsond and a lab and golden retriver mix and we have 2 cats! I dont know how many more animals I can afford! Haha! I sure do hope you get to build your dream house one day! That would be great! I want to live in a place like that big rooms for my reptiles one for a burmese or retic! Haha! I hope you have a great time with your boyfriends parents! Have a nice weekend! WHAZUP???
It's still hot during the day here in SO. Cal. It was almost 90 degrees today! YIKES! Our house is nicely insulated, so it wasn't bad inside. I finally received the stuff I ordered on line for SB. The heating ceramic lamp is up, and I'll turn it on tomorrow. I also put a thermometer and a hygrometer inside his tank. Thanks for visiting and a vote for RANDY. Hello again :). Do you know if Betty and Randy mated yet? I got a cute little pufferfish yesterday. He's one of those green spotted puffers they sell at Wal Mart as "freshwater" fish. Even though they can live in fresh water, they get sick and eventually die. I'm slowly transferring my puffer from fresh to saltwater. They are cute fish with loads of personality. He likes to take fresh shrimp from my hand. Ollie's shedding again today, it seems like he has been shedding alot lately, he's a growing boy :D. Here's a vote for Randy and family today. Although I was a good kid...NOT!!! LOL! You have Sirius Radio on your cable...do you pay extra for that? I have Sirius in one of my cars. I love channel 75...Siriusly SINATRA. What does the word "MORPHS" mean? I'll check with my hubby if Jacob can have a pet snake. Thanks for the info. I love to travel, too, but I hate flying. I'm afraid of heights. If money wasn't an issue, I'd be a full time traveler. I know where Thousand Oaks is, but I don't live near that area.
