HI PEACHES!!!! I've missed you guys!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so sorry you had your heart broken it's allways sad when some thing like that happens. I think you will find some one new soon if you haven't all ready ;). It's been really crazy around here, I've had to start working part time and my man's been working through a temp agency. Our wedding plans are on hold, but we deciced to get married by the end of the year by a justic of the peace rather than have a wedding (we will do a cerimony at some point in our lives). Hubby's (I all ready call him that because I feel we've been married from day one) health is declining and we need to get him to a doctor, but they cann't find any thing and his insurance is refusing to pay because they haven't found any thing. None of the snakes had babies, but they are all happy and fat. Norma's temperment has drastically improved she no longer hisses at me at all, but I'm still the only person she is tollerant of and she still thinks the dogs are a threat, so I hold her in a room all by ourselves. I am starting to train her with the dogs I let Raleigh in with us since he's an old man and doens't bother Norma and she's okay as long as he doesn't get too close. She still has a long way to go though. Mara is in need of a larger cage I think I might put her in with Jessie because she's gotten so much bigger. Ali's going to be a six footer easy she's the biggest fatest snake we have :). How's you and Peaches and the gang? I hope you are well :). FINALLY...
I get to blog! I worked my usual three day weekend. We missed Father's Day. I left my hubby his gift on our bed. Since he works the night shift and I work during the day, when we work the same days, we don't see each other at all (that's what makes our marriage work...LOL!). He loved the gifts...a pair of camouflage crocs clogs and a coffee mug personalized with the kids' pic. We took him to breakfast this morning. The poor guy was a zombie after two nights at work.
I'm taking the kids to Legoland this coming Thursday. It will be a nice sunny warm day. We're going with my friend and her two kids. We'll have five kids all together...WISH US LUCK! We really need it.
SB is more active...thank goodness! The last thing I need is a sick tortoise. Since I'm off today, I observed what she did the whole morning after I turned on her UVB light and gave her salad. Here it is: It took her 30 minutes to slowly wake up. Then, she took her time to get to her dish (another 30 minutes...the good life of SB the tortoise...LOL!). She nibbled here and there for about 20 minutes then she walked around. She did this about three cycles. After that, she went to her dish and tried to soak herself, but it is now too small for her (gotta remind myself to get a bigger one). Then, she took a long nap. I ran errands, and when I came back around 03:15 pm, she was eating again! You know...I don't mind being a tortoise...LOL!

I AM A GIRL...!!!
It is still me! Mommy just wasn't sure what I was, so she assumed that I was a boy...NOT!!! Since my pal PETRIE suggested that I shouldn't change my name drastically, I picked SPONGELINA~pronounced SPON-GE-LINA (one of many names derived from SB that she listed...SPONGEBOBINA was good, too!). It is perfect because mommy's one and only daughter's name is ANGELINA! She was thrilled when she found out about my new name.
Now that I'm a lot bigger, the edge of the shell that meets my tail is definitely shaped like a "U" (instead of a "V"), which means that I'm a girly girl! Mommy swears that it was shaped like a "V" before! Yeah, right...she just wasn't paying attention.
If it changes back to a "V", I'll let you know (LOL)...and back to SB I'll be. Now my initial is SE.
No more confusion...what a relief! Mommy is working tomorrow, and a boring charge nurse class on Wednesday. She'll be off on Thursday, but it will be one of those super busy days. Here's a vote and later! SE~QUEEN of LOVE.Come visit me, SPONGELINA BALLERINA~Brrrr. ..it's gettin' chilly!!.

Another short blog...BLAH!
I worked three days straight, off one day (tomorrow), and another three days!!! I think I've made a BOOBOO when I plotted my schedule. I have to get up early tomorrow. I'm taking my two older kids and dogs to The WALK for a good cause. I raised money for the local shelter. This is the second year I've done this and I LOVE IT! Hi Peaches!!!!
How's Florida? Is Peaches still in hybernation or is she comming out of that now that spring is here? Sorry i haven't been able to get on here for a long time again. Doing all this dog training I spend more time outside than I have in a very long time, and when I'm inside I've been working on my computer programing skills or cleaning something. I think I spend about 5 hours a day outside doing various things with the dogs. I added Hollee's pic to mara's page and put her page up on the dc site. I made a strange obseveation today I've wanted to get a cat for a long time i miss having one, but now that Hollee is here I don't have that feeling any more. It helps that Wobbles kind of acts like a cat especially when she plays with her ball :), but I think it's more because she and I have a deep bond and she looks at me with worship in those big brown eyes. It's really hard to resist the urge to pet her all the time I do break down some times, but she has to work for any attention or food she gets. How's every thing going for you? I wish i was down in florida I'd be field herping like crazy looking for snakes and lizards :). I'm not sure I'd try for a big snake if I found one but i'd try for a baby burm and definatly any bps I see. That is if you are allowed to I'd turn them over to the humane scociety so they could recive imediate care though. i gues i should look that up. My parents bought a house down there and since they won't be there in the summer We could vacation there and do all the herping we could handle :). Well i've got to run and clean this house so i can start the next part of the scheadual... STOP STARING AT MY SHELL, MOMMY!!!
Not much going on here...rain on and off as usual. Mommy was at work and got home late because of Friday night traffic. Guess what...mommy sees more patterns on my shell that are shaped like what she thinks they are, but she says to zip it! It will be a surprise, so stay tuned. I say she's seeing things...she really needs a hobby...anything to keep her busy, so she won't be staring at my shell...LOL! That's awesome we will be sure to pick up that issue at the pet store I wouldn't miss it! We decided to name the puppy Hollee when my boyfriend brought her home last night he told me to read her collar and it said 'I love you will you marry me?'. I'm still in shock :). I told him the hope diamond couldn't have been a better engagement ring than Hollee. She's a smart little cookie too! She allready answers to her name and will sit on command with a little help, but she did it once today with out me touching her backside at all. She and Diogi love each other now last night Diogi didn't want to settle down, but now she's got it down. Diogi likes to play rough like she does with Shiela, but Hollee's only 10 weeks old and cann't do that yet. I hear muinchkin in the kitchen spilling her food all over the floor. Silly puppy :). Man I'm still in shock! I knew when we met he was the one, but still! Hollee is deffinately my dog she follows me every where, she looks to me and Diogi for leadership, but Diogi now looks to me to see if what Hollee wants is okay. Raliegh will take some time to get use to her but soon they will all be like peas and carrots. He's not mean to her he just thinks he's not going to get attention from us with the new puppy around, so he throws temper tantrums by barking at every thing. I've allready used a whole roll of film taking pics of the dogs. I'm really glad Peaches made reptiles magazine she's an awesome beardie. Give her some hugs for us! I hope you move goes smoothly too my parents are allready down there soaking up the sun. We haven't set a date yet and I have no idea what I'm going to do with the cerrimony. I want it small it's just a matter of oh every thing else! Well i've gotta go let every one else know. I cann't wait to get those pics developed so every one here can meet my engagement ring. Yay I can be online again! Our computer died they are just so expensive to fix! All is well here we are getting a puppy on Friday she's a great pyrenees like Raliegh but right now she only weighs 20 pounds. I think we are going to call her Freya, but we have all week to decide for sure. They had a boy he was such a cutie, but so timid and shy Diogi would just run him over. Plus the girl licked my face and once she reallized licking faces was fun she wouldn't stop licking me! I asked her if she'd give me a kiss and she just looked at me for a second like 'huh?', but then she gave me a slurp on the nose and was like 'hey this is fun!' licklicklicklicklick! We aren't going to encourage that since she's going to end up weighing 150 pounds. Diogi's going to seem so small in comparison heck so is Raliegh at his 120 pounds. The snakes are all doing thier thing, but no sign of eggs yet. i'm going to be disapointed if we don't get any this year, but I just try to trust that things happen when they are meant to. How have you been? Are your reptiles and other pets doing well? I've been doing a lot of looking at beardies and chamy's my boyfriend know's at some point we are getting them. I wish Mara would stay small she's so cute and growing fast! She's all most tripled her leangth since we got her and she only eats two mice a week, but good greef she grows fast! Every time I turn around she's shedding it seems. Randy I had to help him shed this last time. He didn't get any of his old skin off except his belly. Bob loves the tree my neice and nefew got me for Christmass so much we just leave it in his cage. He looks for it if it's not there. I have some silly snakes :). Congrats to your fishy I love fish, but they don't seem to do well with me except betas. I want to get some again some day right now we jut don't have any where to put them that isn't reserved for snakes and beardies. We are experiencing computer dificulties one minute I'll be typing away and the next the computer kicks me off the web. We need a new hard drive is all, but we are broke and we are getting a 360 next friday unless some thing else desides to break again. After the 360 we will get a new hard drive we really miss playing the 360 we use to have. I swear this house is litterally falling apart! If I ever become a multi millionare I'm going to come back here and buy this house so I can knock it down, build a really nice house and sell it for what I payed to buy it back. My friends and familly think I'm joking when I say that, but I'm really not. I'm actually considering saving money so that even if I don't become a multi millionare I can still do it. I saw a beautifull cammy at Chameleons only now I REALLY want one! They really do have some pretty ones there it's hard to pick one! I really like the ambanja they have. We are also talking about getting a puppy so poor diogi has some one her age to play with. If we had the room we'd get a great dane or a st bernard I really love great danes though. I saw a cute little all black female dane for $300 and that's cheap for a dane. If she was free she'd have been mine! Diogi listens to me pretty well now and by the time we can get another dog she will be fully trained and so will I. I want to do another picture day with the snakes, but the only camera I have, since the good one broke, takes terrible pictures. Mara's gotten so long since we got her I think she's going to be big like Ali is. I cann't wait for Mara to be big enough to breed her babies will be awesome. Did you do any thing fun on New Years Eve? We stayed home and couldn't even stay awake for the ball drop! Thanks for the cammy info they are so amazing I love the rainbow of collors they display according to thier mood. How are you doing? I'm okay my niece and nefew got Mara a climby thing to play on in her cage, but it's to big to fit in a ten gallon tank, so I put it with Ali. She's so big now if I just met her for the first time I'd think she was way older than one year! She looks like she's about 2! She's past the 4ft mark now I think she's going to be the first one to reach 6ft easy. When we first got the ladies we over fed them on feeding day so they'd get big faster. Now all but Tori and Mara eat just one rat each week Mara and Tori get mice. How good are panther cammies as far as handeling and care? They are so lovely I just love Ollies colloration that stripe of light blue is my fave of his markings in his main pic. I saw a really nice veiled cammy that was all most completely red online a few weeks ago. I think cammies are so cool. If you could pick just one reptile no matter the price who would you choose? Twas the night before Christmas, he lived all alone In a one bedroom house made of plaster & stone. I had come down the chimney with presents to give And to see just who in this home did live. I looked all about a strange sight I did see, No tinsel, no presents, not even a tree. No stocking by the fire, just boots filled with sand, On the wall hung pictures of far distant lands. With medals and badges, awards of all kind A sober thought came through my mind. For this house was different, so dark and dreary, I knew I had found the home of a soldier, once I could see clearly. I heard stories about them, I had to see more So I walked down the hall and pushed open the door. And there he lay sleeping silent alone, Curled up on the floor in his one bedroom home. His face so gentle, his room in such disorder, Not how I pictured a United States soldier. Was this the hero of whom I’d just read? Curled up in his poncho, a floor for his bed? His head was clean shaven, his weathered face tan, I soon understood this was more then a man. For I realized the families that I saw that night Owed their lives to these men who were willing to fight. Soon ‘round the world, the children would play, And grownups would celebrate on a bright Christmas day. They all enjoyed freedom each month of the day, Because of soldiers like this one lying here. I couldn’t help wonder how many lay alone On a cold Christmas Eve in a land far from home. Just the very thought brought a tear to my eye, I dropped to my knees and started to cry. The solder awakened and I heard a rough voice, “Santa don’t cry, this life is my choice; I fight for freedom, I don’t ask for more, My life is my God, my country, my Corps.” With that he rolled over and drifted off into sleep, I couldn’t control it, I continued to weep. I watched him for hours, so silent and still, I noticed he shivered from the cold night’s chill. So I took off my jacket, the one made of red, And I covered this Soldier from his toes to his head. And I put on his T-shirt of gray and black, With an eagle and an Army patch embroidered on back. And although it barely fit me, I began to swell with pride, And for a shining moment, I was United States Army deep inside. I didn’t want to leave him on that cold dark night, This guardian of honor so willing to fight. Then the soldier rolled over, whispered with a voice so clean and pure, “Carry on Santa, it’s Christmas day, all is secure.” One look at my watch, and I knew he was right, Merry Christmas my friend,Heres votes for all.Come visit me, Sliver & Stardust.

How are you doing? We lost our internet for a couple days and I gained my boyfriends cold just in time for his parents visit this weekend. That's cool how your MIH geckoes can reproduce with out males. Very few species can do that! Yeah once our ladies lay thier eggs they have two months till they hatch! Every one has eaten so no gravid ladies yet, but I don't think they'll ovulate untill January. Still you never know some times, females will some times continue to eat even while they are pregnant,but that doesn't happen often. SB is active during the day and when the heat lamp is on, but not as active as he was before, now that it's colder. I'm still soaking him in warm water three times a week.
