Hi! My name is Lilly.
I am a Green Anole from Cedar Park.
 2 years old
 Male
 Lizards
 About 6 inches.
 Lilly is a Green Anole lizard, about 6 inches long. she lives between the shingles of our house with some other Green Anole members. Lilly likes to sit on the lime tree and eat the bugs on it! Lilly is very tame and will let us pick her up and pet her! Lilly is the BEST Green Anole Lizard ever! It seems like she wants to be a lizard model because she shows off when we come outside! Get ready, this gets really confusing if you know the whole story, but here it is anyways. ~We got a Green Anole one day and named it Lilly, only to find out a week later that Lilly was a boy. Then, a couple months later, we found a girl Green Anole and you know what happened next. So, Lilly's first child, Kiwi is a boy, but we weren't sure when we named him if it was a boy or a girl. Then, Lilly had another child, Sierra, which is Kiwi's little sister. We knew Sierra was a girl when we named her. (We didn't want to give her a boy name if it was a girl or a girl name if it was a boy.) I know most of you are probably lost by now, but you know the most important part. Yeah, I hope that Kermit makes his appearance soon to. But it may still not be warm enough for him yet. It got cold a couple of days ago and snowed again. Hey, thanks for the vote. My russian tortoise is in about a 30 gallon tank which is a perfect size if you just have one. He has plenty of room to motor around. He has a pretty good size water area with a ramp to get into. He eats mainly regular tortoise food mixed in with some leafy greens like romaine lettuce. I have some sad news. Pyncheress died sometime last night. When I went to bed last night she was alive and when I awoke up this morning I went to check on her and found her dead under her log. I don't know what happened she seemed healthy and everything. I'm still keeping her page so you can still put blogs on it if you want. I think that if you have a tortoise and you want to go on vacation the best thing to do is to leave it with a neighbour and/or friend. As for finding a vet you'll have to search your area and probably call around to different vets. If they don't work with herps I'm sure that they would know who did. I hope that this helps. I don't see why you couldn't keep them in a room. You could probably take them outside in the summer. Kermit is free to come and go as he pleases. Our pond isn't enclosed and that's where he lives. I read in a blog that you're thinking about getting rabbits. If you decide to get rabbits get a small breed such as Dutch, Mini Rex or Netherland dwarf. That's all of the small breeds I can think of right now. Because small breeds are easier to control if the rabbit begins to wiggle around or start to kick and they don't grow to big to handle. I had a rabbit that weighed about 10-lbs or so! She was huge and when she started to kick hard to handle! I tried but I never got her tame enough to handle without kicking and scratching me. I do have 1 good thing to say about her, she was a GREAT MOM! Hey, rabbits are so cute. Though I like all animals and I have a dog and a mini horse too. I used to have a rabbit a long time ago and I was house training it.
