Love the ackie monitor by the way! I will hopefully be getting one within a couple months. Mossy frogs, like all other frogs, are NOT to be handled. Amphibians are for display only, but mossy frogs are out all day so there antics are just as entertaining as holding them. Come visit me, Oz & Phoenix.

Cool Monitor!
Really nice monitor, but yeah Scarface lets me hold him for a while, but eventually he jumps on my face then takes a leap of faith onto the wall and makes me chase after him. Pancake doesn't sing. I don't believe any female toads/frogs sing. ;) That is how to determine what gender one is.

Thank you for the comments on my water dragon family yes I have had girls and I have tried breeding but it is hard and I didn't have any luck so I figure I will try again later. I was hoping Demon was a girl but I am not sure which is not good my other two boys bond and fred I have separated because they will fight but demon & bond get along. So I am looking for my perfect little girl dragon. Their home my husband made for them and it has a 55 gal water tank in it because they love water. hello zim and herp family!
he's beautiful! i want to get a monitor someday, but i just dont have the available resources. anyway, thank you for commenting on my blog about pokey. he is pretty big, im hoping he gets bigger. he is really calm. he has never hissed or tried to bite anyone. he loves being held and going outside when the weather is nice. he changes colors pretty frequently--- from dark browns to very light browns and tans to greens. thanks again for the comment. heres a vote for zim!Come visit me, Pokey, Baby, Geri, Sahara & Tinker RIP.

Poseidon the water dragon lives in a large wooden enclosure- 3' x 3' x 3'. He has gone swimming in our swimming pool on various occasions, but that scares me a bit because the first thing he does is go straight to the bottom. Then he explores. :)

Thanks for voting for Papuchi!Yeah, Hawaii is very restrictive. You have an awesome collection! Papuchi has gotten a lot bigger since we first got him. I think he is a boy but I can't be sure. He's a little young to tell for sure. He likes to roam around the house and catch the outdoor sun. Sometimes people bring in illegal reptiles and eventually someone tells on them and it's on the news. We have anoles here, Jackson's and turtles and tortoises. Thanks for the vote and comment. I'll try to keep the site updated as these eggs progress. I will definitely put up pictures when the hatchlings start breaking out. I'm pretty proud of them. I did everything by the book including waiting until the female was over 400 grams to breed. It paid off because the eggs look very healthy and Luna looks fantastic. This is her first clutch ever. I don't know if she will lay any more this year or not. I know they can hold the sperm for a long time and produce another clutch in three weeks.
