How are you doing? This time I'm stopping by with a blog to go with my vote. About time, huh?
Yes, I do remember it like it was yesterday when you were writing about expecting the birth of your baby boys. Wow, they're now 9 months old! Time flies! And I can just imagine all kinds of mischief they're getting into.
That's too bad that you don't see wild snakes around there. This year we have so many garter snakes in and around the garden. Last night I was taking my mini horse out for a cart ride. I opened his feed shed door and it felt like it was stuck on something. I pushed it a bit more and saw a tail sticking out from under the door.
A 3 foot garter had decided to use it as a hideout. He came out like an angry cat. His back was arched and he was jumping up and down in a weird way. I was worried that I might have hurt him with the door. He looked alright though once he got on his way.
Anyway, I hooked up Pippin to the cart and we went up the mountain for an hour or so. When I came back I opened up his feed shed. Guess what! The snake was back!
So, I left the door ajar and unhooked and groomed Pippin. I thought doing all this would scare the snake away but he felt too snug and secure under the door. It's a very tight space so I was concerned I'd squish him.
Then, the sun was going down and I wanted to close up. I couldn't shut the door with him under there. I took a stick and started poking. He wouldn't move.
I opened the door a bit more. He was stuck. So, I closed it a bit. He moved into the gap between the hinge side of the door and the frame. Bad spot! He tried to squeeze inside but his belly was too fat. I took a hold of him but that just made him panic.
Eventually he figured out he had to go backwards and he slithered away. I haven't seen him today! Maybe he figured out that really wasn't the best place to hide. Or maybe he sleeps there but when he sees the evil me coming, he high tails it out of there!
Snake adventures of the week! I hope you're doing fine and enjoying some nice warm weather. It's close to 100 here.

Remembering Joanna
Remembering Joanna
All through the month of April we on the Horse Channel want to honour a dear friend who passed away last year. In February her beloved pony, Pixie Dust, also passed away to join her in the next life.

Perhaps some of you remember me mentioning Joanna last year when she died. She was a very special friend. She was bedridden for many years but didn't lose her happy spirit. She was on the HC for 3 years and blogged regularly, always having a kind word for those in trouble. Not once did any of us suspect that she wasn't well! At the age of 34 she passed away peacefully at home.
On my pages I have photos of Joanna in bed being visited by Pixie Dust. She had a wonderful relationship with her pony and made friends easily with all those who were blessed to have her in their lives.

How are you doing? Guess what! Kermit won rotm again! It was a really nice surprise. I'm glad that Jojo and Godric found a good home with your friend. That's great that you still get to see them.
How's the weather now? No more tornadoes I hope? Here it's typical crazy spring weather. More snow predicted for tonight but I think it will rain instead.
So, which snake is pregnant? I bet you're excited about the babies. Talking of babies, what are your two boys up to? Speaking any words yet? Too early I guess for that. Plus, girls usually speak much earlier than girls.

..I'm running for ROTM (Retile of the month) this month and I would greatly appreciate your help and votes.
DAY #1 OF MY CAMPAIGN:
Mom named me Slinky because of the way I move. Almost like a toy slinky down the stairs. Sometimes she calls me "Slinka dink" or "Stinky Dinky Slinky". She even made a song out of my name.
She got me when I was just a little hatchling of about 6 inches. I was shy, but my real personality came out soon. I loved to climb branches.
Now, I'm 6 years old, and over 5 and a half feet long! I love to come out of my cage.

hey!!
omg! so i hardly ever have time to get on here! So much to tell you! first awesome breeding pairing. finally broke it off with jeff completely so lizzy will need a new man at some point if i decide to breed her again lol. I have started dating someone new who is amazing and its going great I really believe I found my one person...lol.. The petstore is reopening saturday so im super stoked about that!! I want a boa from you so bad I just cant have a snake that size lol.. I still want a frilled but ima chill on animals til im out in my own place. But I have been able to save money and pay off all my bills except car note and cell phone bc cell phone is obviously a reoccuring bill lol, since I dont have to pay for everything for an adult male !!! Anywho that will be so cool if you go back to school it will definitely take up time.. He may not mind you talking to him all the time lol.. example...jeff would tell me to call him and make sure he was up for work in the mornings and then if i called and he didnt answer so id call back in 10 min he would chew me out for blowing up his phone and say he was awake.. wow ... jerk.. lol how was i supposed to know he was up if he didnt tell me esp since he made it a huge deal for me to make sure he was up for work... However,,, josh my new bf we work together and we arent telling anyone at work so we are around each other m-f 8-5 and in the same room and we text all day lol then usually hang out after work and talk on phone or text if we dont or even if we do until we go to sleep and he said he loves that he wants to be around me all the time and that we can talk and goof off.. So I think we def finally got better MEN and did right ditching the boys.. Im about to delete loki and jax's profiles bc loki is jeffs and he has jax since i bought him for us and everything for him but i didnt want him anyways he is super hyper bc jeff didnt take him out enough plus id think about jeff all the time if i had him... oh and i gave keanu back to the lady bc he got super aggressive and so it wasnt worth keeping him and paying for extra stuff to not even be able to mess with him plus she said she missed him and doesnt take him out which is fine i guess bc they are easily stressed anyways..Come visit me, Phoenix, June Coral aka June Bug (first clutch of babies) & lizzy lou lou (now a mommy).

How are you doing? Neat photo! What happened to Jojo? I wrote to congratulate you a while ago and I didn't know it was you because the names had changed! I remember I wrote to you on Jojo's page first because one of my sisters is called that.
So, is it still hot there? Here it's warm weather, freezing weather, rain and snow. Yep, I think it's spring!
Is your ex still bothering you? I hope not and I'm glad the boys are with you permanently. They deserve a good home! I bet they're keeping you on your toes though. hehe
Any luck with the breeding yet? I'd love to see photos of the babies. They're so cute! I actually saw a teeny tiny garter a couple of weeks ago. First snake of the year!
As for the smoking, I agree with you on that. Ugh! Maybe someday you can wean him of that bad habit. Especially for the kids' sake. In the meantime, make him go outside! I know, I'm a meanie! I can't help it!

Looking forward to seeing him! I plan to be there both days as well. Since I live over 2 hrs away I will be staying in a motel in the area.
