They're here! They're here!
The twins were born on the 8th and 9th of September. Mason was born at 11:36pm on the 8th and weigh 4 lbs 15.7 oz. Kellen was born at 12:18am on September 9th weighing 7 lbs and 2.1oz. Oooh! I see a picture of the boa!! Lol, she makes a very nice hair accessory :P That looks really neat. Hey!
It's hard to get online anymore and I probably won't be able to do it again after today .... At least until the babies are born. It hurts too much to sit in this computer chair lol, and my laptop has a virus and it's stupid anyways, so I don't wanna mess with it. I need a new one :/ .... Your baby is so pretty! I love its colors. Lizzy and Loki did a good job! Lol! I'm sorry the sick babies all died :( Even the one that was starting to look better died? That sucks ... But you still got a good turnout of babies and you did your best with them! Most of my reptile collection died :( Well ... only three snakes died .... The rest I had to give away because they were all sick and I couldn't care for them properly. Even the ones I have left are hard to care for between the contractions and the bad weather we've been having. The contractions are probably due to the bad weather lol, but I hope not. I hope the babies come soon. I'm tired of basically being an invalid!! Lol, my poor boyfriend, I know I make him so mad. He treats me like a piece of thin glass that can break at any moment and I always fuss at him for it :P Lol, uh oh! You're not thinking of expanding your collection to include snakes huh? ;P Haha. Red tail boas are the best snakes in the world. I just wish more people would realize that, but it's hard for them to realize it because no one wants them right now. With all those stupid python and boa bans. No one wants to buy the bigger snakes, everyone is getting into ball pythons and corn snakes. Those are what are safe. I say take a little risk and show the government that they can't take our pets away like that! I mean really, how are they truly gonna enforce a law that says you can't bring bigger boas and pythons across state lines anyways? Unless they have check points at every single state border, which won't work lol. They can't even keep illegal immigrants from crossing the country's border, how do they expect to keep snakes, which are much smaller and quieter, from crossing 50 state borders? Bah, I wish they'd give up on this whole snake hating thing. Just because a couple of people are stupid with snakes doesn't mean they have to punish the whole reptile keeping part of the country!! Thanks!! :D I know, those ultrasounds are sooo cool! I got a cute picture of Kellen too, I'll put him up soon lol. They're both HUGE fat babies!!! I'm so happy they're both healthy. Lol. That's awesome that all the babies are getting good homes. Yeah, I know what you mean about the three that aren't doing as well. I hope that little skinny one improves for you :( Poor guy. I know a few people who would take good care of them, but they're all over here and I wouldn't want to risk shipping them if I were you lol. My friend doesn't breed any specific type of beardies. She just breeds pet qualities. She does have a few designer dragons, but none of them are old enough to breed yet, except her marketed leucistic male, which I don't think she had success with yet this year. So she just has a bunch of normal little ones that she can sell for cheap as pets. Nothing special :) So when is that show? I don't blame you for not wanting to miss it lol. I prefer for Kyle to go with me, but as long as it's a Repticon show, those are right down the road from me, so whether he goes or not, I never miss those lol. Hey!
I posted the picture!! I only got one baby unfortunately :( We have to go back next weekend to see Kellen because we couldn't get him to turn around and face the camera. Yeah I know, I don't know why people aren't just honest. They'd get more business that way. At the last reptile show, I had to sell two baby beardies for a breeder friend of mine and the lady buying wanted a male and a female. I told her there was no possible way I could tell for absolute sure what sex they were, but that there was a lady there who could, so I'd make my best educated guess and she could take them to the other lady and have them sexed and if they weren't a male and a female, I'd switch one out for her. She seemed to take my answer though, because I didn't see her go to the other lady for confirmation, but at least I was honest with her. I'm PRETTY sure the ones I picked were a male and female though ... Hopefully .... Cause I could see the pores for sure on one of them. So I know for fact he was a male. It's just the other one that I was kinda unsure of ... But I tried my best and that's what's important! :P Lol. And she was a happy customer. Happy Birthday Month!! Lol. Reptile shows are always exciting though, you'll love it. So much to see. I FINALLY saw my first panther chameleon in person at the last show!! It was soooo beautiful!! It made me want one more than anything now!! And yeah, uros are amazing. I love my little Godric. He's spoiled and fat lol. And I'm so happy I finally got his cage set up. He's a much happier lizard now. He's definitely a sweet heart too. He's just so laid back. I love the uros. I want like a million of them lmao! Awww, cute little babies :) I'm glad to hear they're doing well!!! I think there's some turtle eye drops that you can get cause apparently turtles have a lot of eye problems ... But you might could ask a vet if that would help clear them up too? They are very pretty little babies! :D Speaking of babies, I'm going for a 3D/4D ultrasound Saturday!!! :D I'll get to see exactly what my babies will look like. I've already kinda seen one when my high risk doctor was just playing around with the 3D effects lol, but this place I'm going to is supposed to be much more advanced and you're supposed to be able to see them really really well. I can't wait!! I'll post pictures up on Jojo's profile probably. I finally got Godric's cage set up and he's sooooo happy now! Omg, I can't tell you what a happy little fat lizard he is now lol. He's so cute. I love uros so much!!! And I did receive a bit of bad news :( Both of my new ball pythons I got ... both males. That guy really scammed the crap out of me!! I'm very mad about it, but that's ok. I'm going to start telling everyone not to buy from him and how shady he is. It's not SO bad though because now all I have to do is collect some females. Because the females I want to get will make some awesome babies with these two males. And I kinda wanted a male pastel ball python over a female anyways.
