yeah that will be on the small side for a full grown dragon but should serve fine as long as you take him out to roam every now and then but if you wish to upgrade you will be fine for another year at least dragons grow fast the first year then slow down my dragons were all around 16-18 inches when they were 2 years old and 14-16 in the first year so dont panic you have time hope this helps have a great day

hello again there are eight or nine kinds of bearded dragons but the more common type is the central or inland bearded dragon they range from 15 to 24 inches tip of nose to tip of tail i know they switch it up from lizard to lizard some its head to vent others full length most every one will tell you full length for a bearded dragon larger lizards have the head to vent i hope this helps inform you if you need any thing else answered just shoot me another message well happy herping

hello again at his stage of life its hard to over feed your dragon the best way to adjust the feeding is watch its weight if you can see hip bones increase the amount of food but i always increase the greens never the bugs that way you for sure cant over feed them if over feeding does happen you will notice that your dragon cant use its back legs that is caused by its gut putting to much presure on its spine this could end up being permanent and can result in death but dont fret my dragons eat like crazy and i have never had this happen my adult dragons get all greens and a mouse every other week but when they where juvenile i gave them 10 crickets a day with greens in the tanks at all times and 3 super worms every other week but every dragon i have eats different the best way is simply watch the hips and the gut you want your dragon to have a bit of a gut with a nice thick tail and hips hope this helps you have a good one you know where to find me if you have more questions also i left another vote happy herping

thanks for the comment on aki and if your afraid you will over heat your dragon keep an eye on him if he has his mouth hanging open he is too hot
