Hi! My name is Rocko.
I am a Ball Python from Lynchburg.
 Less than a year old

 I came to live with my mom in December 2010. My mom was scared to death of all snakes until she actually got to hold an adult size boy like me. Mom and dad got married in Myrtle Beach, SC. Part of their honeymoom consisted of a trip to Alligator Adventure. They went to a little show there were a girl walked around with a Ball Python and let everyone touch him. The girl also gave lots of info about BP's. Mom said she was scared but she felt him anyway. After the show the girl told everyone if they wanted to stay she would answer questions and they could also hold him and take pictures. Mom took a picture of dad holding the BP first. While she was doing so she got to thinking to herself dad wasn't gonna get one up on her. She told dad I want a picture with him. My dad is one of those people that takes forever to take a photo so mom was standing there saying to him hurry up. Well the more she stood there and held the BP the more comfortable she felt. After mom and dad got back home from the honeymoon mom went to the local petstore with a friend and she picked me. Mom strives to be a good mom she reads about my species constantly she wants to make sure I have the best of care.

Congrats on the puppies! yeah i agree i think the blogging has slowed down. I know for me my schedule has been crazy and its hard to get on regularly as I used to.. I am glad yall are all doing well. I have a baby that i kept, her name is june she was the first born . She is getting so big! I think Lizzy is about to lay eggs again her poor tummy is huge and she is acting crazy.. Sorry for taking so long to reply! But thanks on my compliments! Momma loves me very much. I have grown a lot since I've been with her! Sad thing is I escaped a bit of time ago and when Momma found me, I had a very bad laceration on my side, near my head. So she rushed me to the vet. They gave me 15 stitches. Then performed surgery the next day to repair the muscle that had been torn!

It was great to hear from you again. Wow, the Blue Angels! I bet that was fun. Did you get any photos?
So, it's been raining a lot there? We've had some rain too and we're happy because we really needed it. Unfortunately, it has also been freezing the past few days and it destroyed some of my baby vegetable plants. I'm not too happy about that but what's done is done. At least we aren't having tornadoes.

yep lizzy laid some eggs and they are looking more plump then when i was catching them from her lol!the temp and humidity has been staying stabilized so hopefully we will have babies !! i didnt get to keep the rottie but a little over a week bc my dad found a new home for him even though i had it all taken care of (my neighbor wanted to keep him in there huge yard since he was a pup and would grow up with the baby goats and protect them) so he is now with a co worker of my dads and im still upset but ill get a dog when i am done with my bachelors and get a house. plus the family he went to seems great and he has another pup to play with. congratulations on the family additions! i need to add some new photos when i get the time to sort through them and put some pics of the eggs up as well! hope all is well!Come visit me, Phoenix, June Coral aka June Bug (first clutch of babies) & lizzy lou lou (now a mommy).

hows the family! just stopping by to say hi! lizzy laid 19 eggs this past sat and the day before that my boyfriend and i found a rottweiller puppy someone must have dropped off in the woods by the house when riding bikes . Wow, this has been a busy month for me. I wasn't expecting it to take me so long to answer your blog. How are you liking your new house? I always think it's fun moving into a new place and learning all about the neighbourhood and surroundings. Are you all settled yet?
And that's great that you're thinking about getting a new dog. Yes, two years is way too long without one. Did you know it's now been two years since I lost Tiny? Seems like yesterday and then again it seems like forever. I'm so glad that I have Melian.
I can understand wanting to know about Starr though. Not knowing can be the hardest thing. I think you should sneak over sometime and investigate. Maybe bring your husband along as backup! Or maybe not...

Congrats on the new family member! i am currently keeping a horned mountain dragon for a friend since she is still in high school and fell in love with it at a local pet store and her mom wont let her have reptiles lol so me being the reptile lover, I am keeping it til august when she moves out! he is pretty cool though !Come visit me, Phoenix, June Coral aka June Bug (first clutch of babies) & lizzy lou lou (now a mommy).
