 Jasmine is a cool beardie! She loves romping around the enclosure as she pleases! She loves hanging around her best friend, Maggie, while her boyfriend Spot keeps an eye on her every move! Jasmine hasn't had any clutches, but she will make a wonderful mother in the future! Her nickname is Jazz, like the Autobot in Transformers!!! Her morph is Super Citrus! Her color isn't that bright in the photo, but the pattern going down her back always stands out! Jasmine is one of the most beautiful dragons I've ever worked with, and she will always be a beauty! Hey Mandy!
Hey stranger! I just wanted to leave you a comment. I wrote you an email on bd.org. I know I told you in the email, but i am now officially reptile free. I kind of miss my babies, But I realize now that I dont have them, Just how much extra stress I was under when they were around with how up and down my life has been in the past 2 years. I was looking at the little pictures you made for me a long time ago with the caption on it with Shadow, Vlad, and my old Leopard Gecko Marty. I just realized I never got you any pictures so you could make more =( I mean I did, I ended up taking several but they just came out really crappy and it was the same old pose, Red and Black wall, Red Sheets, and a very dull fuzzy picture. Anyway, I wont blabber much here in this comment as I wrote you a message on BD.org telling you about everything going on right now. I hope you and the beardies are doing well!

Merry Christmas!
Okay, So I know this is a few days late. But I wanted to wish you and all your beardies a very Merry Christmas! I hope it was a good one. Did you do anything special? We didnt do anything particularly special here. We made a bunch of Finger Food for dinner on Christmas eve and pretty much hung out around the house and watched some tv and played some board games. Christmas morning we exchanged gifts and then had a nice dinner later on. Nothing exciting happened other than my Grandma, Uncle, and his new girlfriend joining us. I know its a few days early, but with my luck, I'll end up getting really busy with work again as we continue to get closer to new years eve and new years day, So I'd just like to wish you, your beardies, and your family a very happy and safe new year!
I foregot to mention.... I am officially 19, woohoo!

Im glad you like the tattoo! Honestly? It wasnt that bad... Dont get me wrong, it certainly wasnt an enjoyable feeling. Imagine mixing a bee sting and then once your skin gets irritated from all the wiping of the excess ink, It starts to feel like a very bad sunburn. I cringed a couple times during the 3 sessions (2 sessions and a touch up.), But I honestly spent the majority of all 3 sessions laughing and with a grin on my face. Im sorry to hear that Juls passed away =(. How are you holding up?
Yes im familiar with the Halo series. Although im not much of a gamer. Which day is your brithday again? I cant remember. Yes I heard about the Miami Cannibal case. I think they said it took 6 bullets to finally get the cannibal off of the homeless guy. Did you hear about the Batman shooter at the midnight release of the new batman? The guy dressed up as the new batman villian Bane, Called himself the joker, and then went and shot the theatre up. There were a bunch of people injured and a small handful who were killed. He also had his apartment rigged to blow should the cops try to get into it. They said he's been planning to do this for months. Im sorry to hear about Juls, I hope she gets better! I should be down in Florida in a few months, So TRY to drag yourself to Ocala and the chances are good we'll run into each other. Did you see the new tattoo? What did you think of it? I know your probably busy, but I wanted to update you! After COUNTLESS months of hard work and alot of stress and frustration..I FINALLY found Vlad a new home! I had a couple from beardeddragon.org show interest in him. She goes by Shannybeard and I think his user is something like BigChiefD. My parents are down in Florida, but unfortunately I had to stay home to take care of the dogs and Anna Belle while they were gone and my bro worked all weekend. Shannon (lady who took "Vlad") sent me a text after she finished meeting with my parents to pick up Vlad. She said he's a little bit stressed, but already settling in slowly and basking under a nice warm lamp to warm up after his long trip. Ohh and it turns out that Vlad is actually a SHE instead of a HE. WHoops! lol. They said they were going to rename her Val. Anyway, I just wanted to update you. Vlad or now known as Val, Has found a new home!

It's been awhile since I've heard from you. Im sure you've been pretty busy. I have been pretty busy myself and things have been hectic. It's not definite yet, But if things dont start turning around for the better my family and I might be moving back down to Florida. I wanted to write to you and let you know that I FINALLY found a new home for Vlad. I had a friend from BeardedDragon.org offer to take him. They fell in love with him the minute they seen pictures. I feel alot better now. I was starting to get really frustrated because everybody who has gotten into contact with me lately regarding Vlad has been a huge waste of my time. I know your really busy and it might take you awhile to get back to my two posts, Which is fine. But I wanted to ask you something. I mentioned in one of my replies that my family and I were moving again back down south to South Carolina. Anyway, My point for bringing that up. Im at a really overwhelming point with my beardies and I dont think I can handle anymore than 1 any more. So, I wanted to ask you... And please dont feel like you have to say yes to this just to make me happy. But... My family and I will be in South Carolina and will be driving down to Florida on occasion just to stop in and check on our house and pick up the mail build up at the post office. Anyways, I was wondering... and this is only if you want too, But would you be interested in possibly taking Vlad? He comes with absolutely everything including his 40 gallon breeder and the rest of his supplies. Like I mentioned, Im just at an overhwhelming point with my reptiles and things are only going to get more hectic and stressful, So I wanted to extend the offer and give you first dibs on Vlad and my moms beardies plus both of his set ups. Im asking $100 a peice, But I would be willing to work with you alittle bit on price since your a friend. Anyway, Dont feel like you have to say yes, But think about it and let me know.

There was a small change in plan. I was set to start Emt school on the 29th, But I had to withdrawal myself because my family and I are moving again. We will be moving back down south to South Carolina. My uncle has offered my family a pretty big opportunity within his companies, So we're going to take the chance and move again. I looked it up and if I remember the Emt course starts in Carolina in a few months, So im just going to register and go to school in S. Carolina. I've heard of the hunger game series and have seen the movie advertised on tv a bunch. I've never read the books though. It sounds like your really enjoying your herpetology course! I just wanted to write to you and tell you that I am officially signing my life away come tomorrow. I go to register for Emt school first thing tomorrow morning and am scheduled to start on March 29th. Im pretty excited! Im only going 2 days a week for the first semester unless I have a clinical day, then I will be going 3 days. But for the most part, I will only be going Tuesdays and Thursdays until I have 1 of my 2 clinical days for this semester come up, Then I'll be going Monday and Thursday 5-10:30pm and my clinical day will be 9am-12pm. For some odd reason im getting pretty excited about school for once in my life!

Hey.
Im doing alright. Im still pretty hot and cold about Nebraska.(Yes you got it right.) Im starting to adjust, But the people here are as rude and uneducated as they could possibly be. At least back home in Florida and the surrounding states, You have southern hospitality and here you just have a bunch of stuck up snobs. It sounds like your really enjoying school. I go for Cpr certification in a few weeks and if everything goes well, I should be able to start emt school on the 29th of next month. Vlad and Anna are doing really well. It seems like every time I turn around, Anna gets bigger and fatter. I couldnt believe it when I had her out the other night. She's really getting fat! Vlad is doing pretty good as well. I dont know how to describe him other than he's just being typical Vlad. Since moving here to Nebraska, I have started to really get into going to the local hockey games. They're pretty cool! Alot of fights and crazy wild people. There is a repticon coming up here in a few months. Im hoping I'll be able to go as long as they dont change or cancel the date of it.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

Hey Mandy,
I know you've probably been very busy. But I wanted to send you a message and see how things have been going. I start Emt school in March. I go for my c.p.r. certification in February, Because im required to have it for school. I'll be going to school Monday through Saturday. Monday to Friday are 4pm-8m or 6pm-10pm. Then on Saturdays, I believe I'll be doing hands on work in the local hospital from 9am-12pm. Im getting excited and am really looking forward to starting in March.
Lately I've been hit with beardie baby fever. I want another baby so bad! But I cant really get another one. There arent to many shows around here and well, I know my mom and dad wouldnt care. But if im going to be going to school 6 days a week for the next few months, I guess I dont really have the time to devote to a new baby. I guess I've been hit with new reptile fever in general. Lately, I've been OBSESSED with learning all I can about Blue Tongue Skinks. I dont really want one, but I just got hit with the sudden urge to learn about something new, lol.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I really dont feel any different being 18, But I'll let you know if that changes because supposibly, My dads friend is taking me out to a few bars/clubs. Did I tell you about what happened when we first got here? We weren't here a week and my car and my older brothers car got broke into and had some of our stuff stolen. My brothers been up here for months and hasnt had a problem, But my parents seem to think whoever did it, Seen the moving truck and the florida tags and thought "Hey, let's get these people!". No worries, I know you've been busy. It's funny for you! But, flying off the sled wasnt fun for me. And yes, That is lame! You should come to Nebraska and come see all the snow we get! While your at it, Go sledding so you can see what I felt like when I ate snow. Not only did I fly off the sled, But I tripped and fell a few times trying to walk back up the hill. How long have you been in the Herpetology program at UM? I'll probably be going to the local university in the next few months for Emergency Medical Tech. Im glad to hear that your beardies made it through their move alright! My moms talking about Rehoming her beardie. I might take him, But I dont really know if I have the time for a 3rd beardie. Escpecially if im going to be working and going to school full time. But I dont know, I have to think about it. Sounds like Herp Heaven Paradise in Miami! I highly doubt Nebraska has any natural herps because of how bad and how extremely cold the weather gets. What are you and your dad going to do for Christmas? There is a 25% chance of a white christmas here in Nebraska this year. I think it'd be neat to have a white christmas.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

Hey Mandy,
I just wanted to stop by and say hello. I hope your doing well. I have been up here in Nebraska for a couple of weeks now. I love it here! I didnt expect to like it as much as I do. I went snow sledding for the first time last week and im not sure how many more times im going to do that in my life. Our friend took me to the steepest part of the hill across from his apartments and told me to go down. I went down and about halfway down the hill, The sled seemed to be slowing down, Which resulted in me being catapulted off of it, lol. The dragons have settled in surprisingly well. I didnt expect them to be so calm and mellow. But they surprised me. 1.5 days in the car. Spending a couple nights in rubber maids, They really surprised me. Ohh and im 18 now! Everybody says when you turn 18 you feel "different" compared to all the rest of your birthdays. In all honesty, I dont really feel any different at all. Im now officially done with school and after the first of the year, Im going to go and see if I cant apply and get a job at the Petsmart right up the road. Then while im working, I'll hopefully be going through Emt Schooling. How have you been? Anything new going on?

It took my mom a few months to save up enough cash for the trip, But we got here. I think this trip was the longest 2 days I was ever trapped in a car. Im not quite sure what to think about it yet. Hey.
Vladamere and Anna Belle are doing great. I went to turn lights on for them two days ago and Vlad was sleeping under his log and underneath the newspaper. I didnt really worry about it. Vlad has always done that kind of stuff since he's a bit of an "oddball". I left him where he was at and after about 20 minutes, I decided I would take him out from under the newspaper and I set him on his basking log. I set him up there and noticed he had a bruise on his nose. I dont know how exactly he did it. He must have smacked it or rubbed his nose against something in my room when he was running around at night. I touched the area at first thinking he was starting to shed because his head turns a really light lavender like color when it's getting ready to shed. I started to rub it and he gaped his mouth alittle bit. So I guess he was a little on the tender side where he bruised himself on his snout. Other then that, It doesnt seem to bother him to much, if at all. How are you adjusting to only having Spike, Maddie, and Bubba? I imagine it has to be alittle strange with having so many and then downsizing so quickly and only having three. I know how that is... My family is literally selling everything as well and we have just about every big item that we needed to sell, Sold. Now comes all the stuff in the house that we arent taking. I wish you luck on breeding Spike and Maddie. If I could, I'd buy one of the babies. But with everything going on and I really dont have the extra money to invest into a new dragon and another new enclosure. Maybe down the line I'll get another beardie. But, as it sits right now I can only wait it out. Any particular morph that you'd like to get when you purchase your next female? I did some research and luckily, Repticon visits Nebraska. But my luck of course, All the shows in Nebraska are between now and the next couple months and stop right around the time my mom and I will be getting there. So, I wont be able to make it to any of them. After those shows pass, It looks like it'll be quiet for awhile show wise. I came walking out of my bedroom last night to tell my mom about Vlad bruising his nose and my dad of course chimed in with his .02 cents. I went out there and told her and his response was "Just sell those things! We already have enough animals!" I guess he's just stressed but I was ready to start yelling. My dad thinks it's going to be to many animals. But as it sits right now, We have 3 beardies, 4 dogs (2 of which are being rehomed and we're keeping the other 2.), and a pond full of turtles, Which we'll be getting rid of too. So I think my dad just needs to cool his jets. I mean it's only going to be 2 dogs and 3 beardies. It's not a big deal. Thanks for the good luck wishes! And yes we need to bump into each other! Im not sure if I'll be able to make it to the next repticon either. My dad and brother are set to leave for nebraska in 10 days. Which leaves my mom, my grandma, and I here up until after the new year. Vlad and Anna Belle are doing pretty good. Anna Belle's not at all the calm dragon the previous owners made her out to be. I mean she lets me hand feed her and hold her and interact with her, But she's alot like Vlad was when I first got him. She's hyper,moody, and just wants to be left alone to do her own thing. I hope they fatten up easily for you without fuss or struggle during feeding time. A nesting area sounds like it would be a good idea for them. I think I've seen Blood Bank Dragon's beardies a few times in person. But mostly, I've only seen them through their website. A piebald beardie? That would be interesting to see. I seen on the forums here at Reptilechannel in the Lizard Lounge, Someone had made a post about a piebald crested or leopard gecko, I cant remember which one it was. No need to apologize. I know your busy with school and everything else. I'll try my best to hit a repticon that you intend on going to and see if I cant arrange to go the same day you plan to go. Maybe we'll finally bump into each other. But if we cant meet up before I move away, I'd definately like to keep in touch with you.
I have to say, I was really looking forward to this move. Now, Im not so sure. Not that im not looking forward to the move itself, But three days trapped in a small car with my grandmother. Then when we do get up there my dad and my brother will have already been up there for a few months and chances are im going to have to pretty much do what I do now. Which is bite my tongue and alienate myself to solitary confinement. Between my dad, my older brother, and my grandmother, I can tell that it's going to be extremely stressful and aggravating until everyone gets their own place. My brother moved in with us last week so him and my dad can take off next week to go up to Nebraska., It's only been one week since my brother moved back in and between him and my dad, Im already going nuts.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

I wish you luck with rehoming them. I'd love to buy a couple if I werent moving. Ontop of that, Vladamere and Anna Belle alone are a handful just by themselves, lol. Im not positive if im going to make it to Repticon. It was my original intention to go. But my mom wants to have a yard sale this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So There is no guarentee that I can make it. So dont mention anything to your sister yet. Other then the fact that ive got my Leo for sale with all of his supplies and that im giving you guys first dibs. I will be completely honest with you... I got him for absolutely nothing and he came with EVERYTHING. I have him listed at $100 online right now. But I am willing to negotiate and work with your sister and family on the price. He comes with a 20 gallon long, a waterbowl, The Leopard Gecko Manuel, A cave hide, and a foam tunnel hide. I also have another heavy duty cave hide, a fake hard plastic tree decor peice, a log hut, and a bag of fake vines. He is being fed gutloaded crickets and they are dusted 2 to 3x a week with calcium and vitamin powders. I know I already said this... But as of right now, Me going to the show is most likely a No. But if it's something your sister is really interested in, I'll keep in touch with you and let you know what I can work out.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

I know it's a long shot, But if your interested in him, If I can make it to repticon I can talk to you when the show gets closer and I can arrange to bring him with me and we can meet up and you can have him. That's how it works with teachers. You wont have any kind of important school work to do all week and then as soon as you make plans to go do something, You get slammed with a bunch of work that MUST be done. Im glad all the beardies are doing good. Anna Belle and Vlad are doing good as well. Vlad has finally settled down and has quit being such a tough guy and will chill with me at night. But Anna Belle will only hang out for a few minutes before she gets antsy and wants to get down and explore. That's good that your dad found a place. How will you work that? Will you have all of your beardies at your moms, all of them at your dads, or some at both places? Im going to try and go to the Tanpa Expo in November, But im not positive if my mom and I will be able to put out the money. We're moving to Nebraska in a few months and we're starting to sell alot of our stuff and we have to buy a couple car haulers, plus a semi and trailer to haul all of our stuff. My dad and brother are going up first, So they have to get some money saved to at least get them up and then in a few months, my mom and I will be making our way up. So im not positive if I'll be going to Repticon Tampa come November, But im going to try my best. Same here, Im still on Rc, But nowhere near as much as I used to be.

Hey.
So,
I sold the cage today and made $50. My mom is having a yardsale at my brothers house this weekend because we'll be moving out of state in a few months. Anyways, I made $50 but am already $24 dollars in the red. My mom took all my singles and then took another 14 dollars worth of dimes out of my car. Which I dont mind lending her the money cause I'll have it right back tomorrow. But, As much as I love having money, I REALLY HATE it. Because then everybody always comes to me to borrow it when they need it, lol. Anyways, Main point of this comment was to let you know I sold the Iggy cage. Ohh, and I already have a potential interested buyer for Marty.

Hey.
I know you said you were still having internet trouble. But I just wanted to let you know that a couple days ago I found out that one of my yellow bellies or red eared sliders may possibly be pregnant. If she lays eggs and they turn out to be fertile and they hatch, Im going to plan on selling the babies once they're big enough to sell.

Hey.
I agree, Money is money. Thanks! Im glad you like the name. I dont know why I decided on it. Not that I dont like it, I love the name. It was just one of those names that came to me randomly and I thought: "Well that would be a good name for her..." Vlad is still very pudgy. Im able to take Vlad and Annabelle out together, under supervision of course, But they tend to ignore each other. Which probably has to do with them being previous cage mates and breeders together. Annabelle seems to of adjusted to me and my room just fine. She'll even eat veggies out of your hand. Which believe me, I know. I've already been bitten once, lol.
I hear you on the rain, It's been raining here nonstop lately. I know if I were the beardies, I wouldnt want to be out in it either.

Hey.
It's okay, I figured you were probably busy or didnt have internet access. I dont really understand why the one snake cannibilised the other snake. But I did some reading and well, It's not unusual for snakes no matter how long they're kept together. There was a bit of a size difference as well and the big guy used to eat both rats without me knowing. But after I found that out, I started seperating them. So im kind of stumped, But nothing I can do about it. I was glad that the petshop bought the snake from me. I wanted it gone. But what bugs me about the situation is the guy told me he would gladly take it, but it's going to take him at least 6 months to resell it. But what gets me is, I went and sold it to him for $20 just for the snake alone and im sure he probably has it listed at $59.99 like any ball python they have. Im not really concerned about it. $20 is $20 and it's twenty more then I had in my wallet before. To be completely honest with you, I was planning on getting more beardies. But for now I think it's best that I just stick to Vlad and Anna Belle. It's just easier. Besides, from the sounds of it, I'll probably be moving out of state within the year or sometime early to mid next year.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

Once again,
I know im kind of blowing up your page. And im sure you've been busy... But, I got the new beardie Anna Belle her own page set up. Check it out when you get a chance. Unfortunately she's a bigger stub butt then Vlad is, But she seems to be a very sweet and loving dragon. On another note, I went into the local petshop to get crickets today to hold everybody over until I could get a shipment of 500 and they didnt have them. But the point of me telling you that, They are going to buy my Ball Python off of me for $20. Not awhole lot of money but $20 is $20.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

Hey.
I just wanted to tell you that I went to go clean my ball python cage out on the porch and it turns out that my larger python ate the smaller one. They've been living together all of their life and both are seperated and fed and made sure that they've both eaten once a week. So I have NO idea why my bigger one ate my smaller one. I wasnt really hurt, but still! I want to know why the one ate the other.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

Hey.
I was going to bring her to a vet... But, The nearest vet is almost 2 hours away. The only other thing I could of done was taken her to my step aunt on my dad's side of the family and im absolutely hated on that side of the family, So I had no intention of bringing Shadow there. My mom asked me a couple times if I wanted to see if we could scrape up the money to see a vet. I told my mom no and that I thought it would be best to just keep Shadow close by me and do what I could to make her comftorable until she passed. Like I mentioned, Not that I didnt want her to get better, But my familys struggling financially as it is and there is no close vets who even know what a bearded dragon is other then my step aunt on my dads side of the family and im widely hated on his side of the family. I dont think a vet would of done any good anyway. She was to far gone. Last night was definately the hardest, I cried for hours. I had Vlad out and kept the new girl in her cage. But everytime I went to look for Shadow or go look back at the cages in my room, I had to remember that she wasnt with me. I feel like and look as if I've had the long night I had, but im just going to take it slow and one day at a time. I appreciated my mom constantly coming in and checking on me yesterday, But unfortunately, It made me really cranky. I wasnt necessarily mad at her, but the last thing I wanted after having to say goodbye was to be constantly checked on.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

Hey.
Thank you Mandy. I never thought I would of had to of said good bye so soon. When she was sick, I knew this was going to be the ultimate outcome, but I just didnt want to accept it. I tried my best to prepare myself, because I knew last night that I would be lucky for any extra time she lived. To be completely honest, I didnt know she was sick either. My dad had been telling me if I noticed how skinny she had gotten, I told him no. I didnt think anything of it, I spend and see shadow everyday all day and she's always been a bit of a finicky eater and a bit underweight, So I didnt notice what he was talking about. But when I noticed the other night how bad her condition was, I knew she wouldnt be around much longer. I know she's happier in beardie heaven and that she's not feeling any pain or suffering anymore. I just feel so bad and so selfish, Instead of being home with her, After her barely making it through the night... I was out running around town all day. I didnt mean to get you all upset Mandy. I hate to see you feeling as bad as I do. Unfortunately, I think im in for another few days of sadness and tears. I tried my best to swallow it all down and although I didnt verbally break down until tonight. You could tell I was hurting all day. I held her in a towel last night and held her against my chest and looked at her with tears in my eyes and told her it was okay for her to go. I've had gecko's get sick and die in the past and even almost had to put my iguana down when I had him, As well as numerous dogs. But none of them having to pass away and leave me upset me like Shadow's passing did.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

I really appreciate that Mandy. I cant tell you how hard this has been today. I got upset when I seen she was dead. But when I really lost it, and realized it, Was when I seen my mom wrap Shadow up in a towel and then go and bury her. I couldnt bare to watch it so I just stayed inside. I've been down in the dumps all day and will honestly say, I've been teary eyed and trying my hardest not to cry.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

I spent all last night with her and everytime she went to drift off to slumberland and possibly beardie heaven, I selfishly woke her back up. She passed away while I was out today. Hey Mandy, I just wanted to let you know I went to pick up Vlad's ex cagemate and girlfriend today and came home and found that Shadow had passed away... I kind of knew this was coming so I spent all last night with her, I had her wrapped up in a towel and laying beside me on a pillow. I selfishly woke her up every time she went to go to sleep and unfortunately, She passed away when I wasnt at home. But at least I got to say my goodbyes last night. I had to have my mom bury her, I wouldnt of been able to do it.Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).

Hey.
I just thought I'd fill you in. Im not sure if I did or not, So I will anyway. I woke up today and turned on everybodies light. It was a typical day. Then I noticed that Shadow was acting really funny this evening. So, I took her out and looked at her. Her eyes have sunken into her face and she's vomitting off and on. Her beard is black and and so are her sides, For awhile she was trying to hack something up, and when I just soaked her in the tub, She hacked up what I would guess is digested crickets and veggies. She's acting really strange and I can tell that she isnt feeling good. She's hanging in there, But I dont know for how long... I dont have any vets anywhere near me. The closest vet is just under 2 hours away and even then he's just a "vet" he doesnt deal in exotic animals. Not only is there no vet close by but there are also no "reptile" vets or specialists... I dont know what to do. My hearts starting to break and I dont want Shadow to go, But in the same instance, If she does, At least whatever is making her suffer wont effect her anymore... This really sucks. =(Come visit me, Shadow (R.I.P.).
