Hi! My name is Elias The Red.
I am a Boa Constrictor from Tazewell.
 12 years old
 Male
 Snakes
 Elias is about 9 feet in length and weighs almost 30 pounds.
 Elias is one of my many rescues that I have accumulated over the past ten years. He came to me from a family that was no longer able to keep a large snake on Sept. 21 2004. Elias lives in a home made wooden cage with a plexiglass front that measures 5 feet long 2 feet tall and about 2 feet wide. He eats small to medium prekilled rabbits or a few prekilled jumbo rats every few weeks. He is a very tame and very beautiful snake that I am proud to have the pleasure of caring for in my large collection of reptiles.

Wow that's a lot. My parents said if I get any more they aren't going to babysit them when I bring them home from school. But secretly my mom knows I'm getting some new frogs soon since I upgraded my Leopards tank and have an extra cage to put something in. I haven't decided between red eyed tree frogs or poison dart frogs. They have amphibians at reptile shows right?
My stick insects are actually slowly dying. They have this cycle and hopefully they have laid some eggs so their cycle will continue. They live for a few months dye off and babies hatch (or so I was told) but this is my first batch. They are actually herbivores and eat lettuce, Rose leaves, ummm there's more they will eat but I cant remember.Come visit me, Zephyr.

Thanks, Zephyr is so easy to photograph. I have a Leopard Gecko I just haven't created her a page cause I haven't come up with a name just yet. And I have Stick Insects... random but I think they are so interesting.
Is Elias the Red a Red-Tailed Boa? My friend had this really pretty Corn Snake I fell in love with, but before I could make up my mind she sold it to another of her friends.
