I'm really sorry that you lost Pinto and Herman. You didn't have Pinto very long, did you? And please don't worry about taking your time to answer. I was just wondering if everything was okay since I hadn't heard from you. As you know, I know what it's like to be behind in blogging.
How is your mom doing? Yes, a dental infection can be disastrous so I hope she gets better soon.
That's too bad about Star. Hopefully you'll get some babies soon. They are just too cute.
Things are fine here. We had a really nice 80 degree day last week and then it got really cold and then it warmed up enough to rain for several days.

GOTTA TALK...GOTTA TALK...GOTTA TALK...
Those short blogs drove me nuts! I'm a very talkative person (I'm sure you've noticed that by now!). I attended a class today on pain management...pretty interesting and definitely applied to my line of work. We had Filipino food for lunch...yummy and authentic! If you live around Los Angeles, I recommend it...it's called "NOI". Just google it.
Back to work I go tomorrow, and off on Friday. We're planning to take our little boy out for "parents and me" day. The two older ones will be in school. Then, I go straight into my long weekend working...all the way to Memorial Day. I get paid double time and a half...so why not! We're having another POTLUCK...for the holiday and for all the May babies (mainly ME, MYSELF and I...LOL!). I'll be working on my birthday :( but, hubby will be taking me out on Tuesday the 26th. It will be a surprise. I already got two nice purses, and I ordered a pearl ring from QVC (my favorite shopping channel). It's a back order merchandise, and will be shipped to me in August.

IT'S MY TURN...
SB here...it's my turn to blog, and this time I asked mommy nicely, and she said YES!
Mommy just got back from Petsmart with her three kids and two small dogs (the big one stayed home to guard the house and me). She bought me some fresh coconut shavings and a small jar of dried hay cubes. Mommy sprinkles those on my salad, and I seem to like it.
I'm getting my bedding changed tonight...that means I'll be soaked while she's cleaning my home...BLAH! But, at least I'll have fresh bedding after.
It's been hot here, but it doesn't mean Summer is approaching. We'll never know what the weather will be like the next day.
Mommy attended her second charge nurse class today...she said it was (YAWN...) BORING! She's off tomorrow and she'll have her three day stretch at work...BLAH!

READY FOR THIS???
It was 95 degrees today!!! Good thing it was breezy...so it wasn't bad. The Pet Expo was great...we got some dog treats, a fancy collar for my french bully and two dog beds. We didn't find anything for the kitties or SB. I took the kids to the petting zoo and there were some GINORMOUS African Spurred Sulcata tortoises! They were walking around and didn't mind to be petted. I took some pics and I'll post those ASAP. I (and the kids) had so much fun!!! Back to work tomorrow...all good things must come to an end. I'm getting our passports this coming Tuesday...if all goes well, we're planning on going for a 4 night cruise to Mexico this coming Summer. Here's a vote and I hope you enjoyed your weekend...I did! on winning reptile of the day. Wow, you sure can win them. Pinto is a cutie and I'm glad you got some more photos of him.
Thank you so much for your kind words about Tiny and for your condolences now for my terrible loss. I appreciate your friendship deeply.
I tried to write to you last night again but I didn't get too far before the tears were running so much that I couldn't concentrate. I still can't believe that Tiny is actually gone. I keep looking for her and glancing at where she usually is but she's not there and never will be again.
What bothers me the most is that I think we finally got the kidneys in a good place but they had wreaked so much damage to her body that she was having so many strokes and seizures. This last big stroke just shut down everything and she just faded away. It was so hard to watch but I'm glad that at least she was home. I would have given anything for a few more years. It's too late now.
I am thankful that she is free of pain now and is happy. Maybe one day I will be too. But that won't be soon. She will be in my heart forever. I'm sorry, that's all I can write for now.
And I also want to thank you for voting for Prince. It means a lot to me and is something else to concentrate on. Sometimes I think I'm doing fine and then I realize that I have a tear running down my cheek that was trying to sneak by.
Well, thank you so much again for your friendship. I am honoured to be your friend. I hope you have a very happy Easter. Here's a vote for you.

yea my kingsnake does that all the time, everytime he goes to eat he does somethin he bites himself and gets mad at himself or he misses and just pins the mouse to the wall and then searches for it LOL its always something different (and i feed frozen thawed which makes it even funnier) yea i am not sure how they did it either but it is awesome i just want to be able to get mine to walk on a leash. mine are weird i am sure i got a male and female and they both eat alot but the one is growing so slow and the other way fast i think i am going to separate them and see if i can get them to catch up to each other. how do you keep the water slear for your slider? i am fighting all the time to keep clear water in my caiman lizard tank.Come visit me, hoggie, brutus, bonnie, uro, shy, leos, sissors, ajo, hondo, feild, ball & big red.

nice job on ROTD
but has everyone heard about the proposed ban on all exotic being voted on april 23rd its called hr669 it will ban pretty much all pets except dogs and cats and goldfish. No other fish, no reptiles, no amphibians, no birds, no guinea pigs ferrets or hamsters. we wont be able to get any more. if it passes the whole reptile hobby will crash spread the wordCome visit me, Baja, Bronx, Tango & Pippen.

IT WAS A GOOD DAY...
We went to Knott's Berry Farm and spent half of the day there. We did the kiddy's rides, since my hubby wanted to stick together. Usually he takes my oldest son and they do the big roller coasters, while I take the two little ones and pretty much stay in CAMP SNOOPY. My son Jacob and my hubby finally rode on BOOMERANG. Each time he tried, Jacob cried like a little girl. They loved it! I hate roller coasters so I'm glad that Jacob is finally enjoying those scary rides, and has become my hubby's roller coaster buddy. He used to harrass and make fun of me for being a big "chicken". It was cloudy but it only drizzled. Back to work tomorrow, and I'll be off Easter Sunday. If Legoland is open that day, I'll take the kids there. Wish me luck since I'll be severely outnumbered (hubby has to work that night, so it will be just me and the monsters). Here's a TGIF vote and ttyl.
PS. Actually we haven't played the game yet. We have to do it while my four year old takes a nap. He doesn't like to be left out and he's just too young for the game.

Did you go to that reptile show yet? And if so, did you get another snake? I bet you're right about the antiobiotics. They can really stress the system. That's great that your flowers are coming up. We have some blooming now and it's so nice. I think spring is really here though we are getting freezing nights still. But that's okay. As long as there are no more blizzards.
