OMG!!!
I was gone for a LOOOOOOOOONG time!!! Let's see...where do I start...LOL! We got annual passes to DISNEYLAND, so the kids are happy...I am, too! As mature (not old) as I am, when I'm at the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH, I become a kid again.
My two older ones are in SUMMER CAMP...WOOHOO!!! We were the first ones to be there on their first day, with my face pressed to the glass door...OPEN! OPEN! (like the MERVYN's commercial). My four year old will start his SUMMER FOR TOTS next week. It will only be twice a week, two hours at a time...better than nothing.
Then, I got sick and felt BLAH! But I didn't call off on FOURTH of JULY cuz the money was too good. BTW, HAPPY FOURTH! Better late than never.
SB is good. She's getting really big (check out the new pics). I'll have to get her a new tub the next time I soak her. She occupied that whole GLAD tupperware. Her shell has more yellow now. Her shell patterns are still the same size. There are more spaces in between them...guess her shell is stretching.

TOASTY!!!
It was over 100 degrees today! SB's heat lamp was off until the AC turned on. Guess we skipped SPRING and went straight to SUMMER! I took the kids to the dentist today and all went well. I was surprised that my four year old sat through the xray and the cleaning! The bad news is my oldest son has four cavities.
I posted pics of those giant tortoises at the expo. I wouldn't mind having one or two of those at the back yard. I don't think my dogs would be able to harm those giants. The kids in one of the pic are my son Jacob and my daughter Angelina.
Off I go to work tomorrow and I'll be off again on Thursday. I kinda like working every other day.

I used to have a baby little turtle like yours, but it only lasted a few days due to an idiot at this local little filthy pet shop that sold me one of those "turtle lagoons" and no filter or heater, just a heat lamp and some water conditioner. I was so sad when he died. Poor little Squirt...Come visit me, Stripes & Sly.

Our seven year old son...
...has been nagging for a pet of his own. We're thinking about getting him either a frog or a small snake. Do you have all your reptiles in separate tanks? I worked today and I think I'm coming down with some nasty bug, cuz I feel fatigue and I have chills. I hope this will pass soon. Congrats on ROTD. No Babies are just as deadly as the adults just don't have as much venom because not as big venom glands. Seeing them in the wild is priceless. HAve you ever seen a snake in the wild? I probably have seen dozens of them. I live in FL for 5 years and that is where I have seen most of them. How are your guys doing? You have a great day. ...saw your kitties' blog on Simba's page...mommy hasn't gotten time to help them reply yet. They seem new to CC, so I'm sure they will make lots of friends there. The back neighbor's dog had a huge bite across his neck, requiring an emergency surgery that costed $650. They discreetly acused that our akita did it, and asking us to raise the back wall. Apparently, akitas have bad reputation of being dog aggressive. I don't think Zabi did it, but I guess somebody had to be blamed. Thanks and here's a vote for you. I think you're right. My hubby did admit that he kinda liked it. He enjoyed the vampire fighting part, and I was into the romance. Still wet and gloomy here...atleast the sun peeked out for a couple of hours and we had a full gorgeous rainbow arch. If I wasn't driving, I would've taken a pic of it and posted it on SB's page. Anywho, gotta go now...cats are meowing and dogs are barking for dinner. I also have to soak SB tonight, but shhhhh...not too loud...he doesn't know yet...LOL! yea i wouldn't expect it to get that cold like that out in texas. i am in San Diego so we are usually fairly sunny it gets a bit cold down into the high 20s at times in early mornings but thats bout it. here is a vote for everyone have a good weekend.
